Steve Haining

Growing up under the influence of a Mother who worked developing film negatives in the photography industry Steve Hainings photography passion came at an early age. Throughout his teens a camera was always by his side.  By 2005 He was doing occasional photography with film for local bands, weddings and friends.  It was around this time he had saved up enough money to make the expensive switch to a digital SLR camera.  By 2009 Steve was running his freelance photography part time while working in the Graphics department of the Canadian Governments CCIW and DFO.  It was through these years of experience where he combined his Photoshop and illustrator design skills with his years of photography skills that he began to develop his own style of creating images.  In 2011 he left his graphics design career with the government when he was headhunted by Canadian ad agency "Banko Media" and became the Director of Still Photography and Motion for their company.  Haining spent over 3 years heavily involved in the creative process doing photography for big brands, developing marketing and design strategies for companies across the country and even writing and directing videos for television and movie theater commercials.  During this time he continued to develop his own brand freelancing in his down time. Over the years Hainings photography and video started to take him around the world to help brands develop their marketing and visual projects. By 2014 His freelance work was taking him across the USA, Europe and the Caribbean so he left Banko Media and went off on his own.  By having the time to focus completely on his own personal work he was able to focus on his goals more in depth and his company quickly started to grow. He began to further develop his cinema skills as well as take the proper courses for web design to make himself even more versed in the creative industry.  It was at this time that he started to bring on a team and CreateOf was made.

Combining his 10 years in professional photography, motion & design work with his new skills in art direction, marketing and web design, Hainings brand entered the industry in a big way!  The companies he formerly worked for strongly supported his development and over 2015 and 2016 He won four awards for his work and his business. Business Links: the 40 Under 40 business achievement award CHCH TV: 2016 Business Excellence award (Photography) BeFit Enterprises:  Jack LaLanne "anything is possible" Entrepreneur Award (California) The Spectator: Readers Choice Award 2015 (Hamilton) He is a well known photographer but has been commonly called a "Creator" because his life in the media and marketing industry has allowed him to help develop client brands, businesses and individuals in all aspects. In addition he continues to take a unique approach to all of his projects.  An approach that has been a lifetime in the making. Learn more about Steve Haining HERE
